Gerber Daisy's are my favorite flower. So last friday my husband got my this lovely vase full of them. Definatly makes me feel like a princess. <3
Chocolate, Chocolate chip.white chocolate chip, coconut, and walnut cookies. I made these for Ryan as a way of thanking him for the beautiful flowers.
The Reciepe for double deluxe cookies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour {i used 1 1/2 whole wheat flour, & 1/2 all purpose}
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup coconut
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Sift in the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder; mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips white chocolatechips, walnuts, and cocnut. Roll tablespoonfuls of dough into balls and place them one inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
And last but not least of my blessings for today, RUTHIE, she is my 12 week old Golden Retriever pupper. She is so sweet and loveable.
